The Hornby Educational Trust, with the British Council, co-funds Hornby Regional Schools for English language teachers round the world.
The 2009 Hornby Regional School proposes to focus on the role played by new technologies in pre-service training and how they can be used to enhance the training of English language teachers.
Participants, from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela were selected through an open application process.
The course director is Gavin Dudeney is one of the authors of 'How to TeachEnglish withTechnology' (Longman, 2007).
The course tutor is Nicholas Peachey
Jennifer and Nelba will meet them in Buenos Aires and chat with them about the latest trends in ICT applied to language learning.
